1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

Through our quiz, we collect only:

• Your email address
• Your first name (optional)
• Your quiz answers (conversation preferences, avatar style, budget, experience level)
• Anonymous technical data (traffic source, submission date)

We do not collect any data classified as sensitive under the GDPR (health, sexual orientation, political or religious beliefs).

3. Purposes and legal basis

Your data is processed in order to:

• Send you your personalized result along with our tips by email (legal basis: consent)
• Improve the relevance of our recommendations (legal basis: legitimate interest)

Your data is never sold to third parties.

4. Processors and transfers outside the EU

We rely on the following processors:

• Supabase (database hosting, Frankfurt region, Germany) — secure storage of your answers, with encryption at rest and in transit.
• Vercel Inc. (website hosting, global CDN) — web server. No personal data is stored on Vercel; only HTTP requests pass through it.
• An email service provider (e.g. ActiveCampaign or Brevo) may be added to route follow-up emails. This policy will be updated at that time and your consent will be requested again where necessary.

Because the operator (Pearl Market FZ-LLC) is established in the United Arab Emirates — a country that does not currently benefit from an adequacy decision by the European Commission — any access to personal data by the operator from the UAE constitutes a transfer outside the EU within the meaning of Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR. This transfer is governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and by supplementary technical measures (encryption, minimization of the data collected, restricted access). You may request a copy of the safeguards we have in place.

5. Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as you remain subscribed to our email list and for up to 3 years after your last interaction. After that period, it is deleted automatically.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights at any time:

• Right of access to your data
• Right to rectification
• Right to erasure (right to be forgotten)
• Right to data portability
• Right to object to and restrict processing
• Right to withdraw your consent at any time

Our site uses only strictly necessary cookies required for it to work (user session). We may also use anonymized analytics cookies (e.g. Plausible Analytics, with no individual tracking and no consent required under CNIL guidelines).
